It came from a local farm (to vermont) where it had acres of beautiful rolling hills to graze and excellent farmers taking care of them. Very dense and long wool, with lanolin. Super plush and soft. May feel a bit waxy and smell of sweet sheep. This will fade over time (I honestly love this smell!). Ties are made with deerskin I didn't process.
